SCDI is collaborating with CREATA and community networks to help empower the participation of under-served populations in promoting UHC in Vietnam

Topic(s) of focus

The Center for Supporting Community Development Initiatives (SCDI) is collaborating with the Centre for Training and Research on Substance Abuse – HIV (CREATA) at Hanoi Medical University and community networks to help empower the participation of under-served populations in promoting universal health coverage in Vietnam. SCDI hopes to improve their representation in participatory platforms, strengthen their leadership and evidence gathering capacities, among other goals.

Population(s) of focus

SCDI will collaborate with and focus on people minoritised by way of ethnicity, folks with tuberculosis (TB) and their families, as well as migrants and informal laborers experiencing poverty.

Work so far

SCDI and CREATA have created a Theory of Change model summarizing project inputs, activities, enablers, and projected outcomes. They will be working on initiating activities in 2023.
