Kenya

The Health NGOs’ Network (HENNET) is collaborating with the African Institute for Health and Development (AIHD) to document and advocate around the exclusion of various communities in UHC within Kenya.

Topic(s) of focus

Discussion on this remains underway – given the salience of UHC reforms in the country, particularly related to insurance, but also opportunities afforded by programming related to Non-Communicable Disease prevention and control in the country.

Population(s) of focus

As part of their research activities, HENNET and AIHD will examine which groups face danger of exclusion in UHC within Kenya. Their advocacy project will center these population(s).

Work so far

HENNET and AIHD are building a Theory of Change model summarizing project inputs, activities, enablers, and projected outcomes, alongside a project concept note.
